About Us

My name is Eliel Hernandez, born and raised here in Houston, TX.  My father was a contractor for over 30 years.  He passed his trade onto me and now I have built my business on the foundation of his knowledge.

This is a family owned business  since 2002 that includes me as salesman and manager, my brother, as my right hand man that oversees all of my projects, and my wife, as my marketing manager and accountant.  We also have Sergio Garcia as our outside sales representative, he brings with him extensive customer service and renovation knowledge and is an asset to our company.

Our company provides the labor force for the some of the biggest remodeling companies in Houston. One of the major companies that uses our services and has been doing so since 2003 is The Home Depot. They require extensive product and installation training along with employee background checks. Ultimately that means you get the big company quality and proffessionalism at a lower cost.

As you can imagine, my overhead is not as overwhelming as those big companies and my prices will reflect just that.
The crews that I have hired to work on my projects have extensive training on Hardie products and all aspects of remodeling.  My employees specialize in carpentry, painting, and all custom builds.  These men have been with me from the beginning of my business and take pride in the quality of their work.

We are a turnkey company and don't contract out any work, that's why I'm proud to have these hardworking men on my team.

My pride is my company and my goal is to satisfy my customers.

How to choose a contractor

  1. The first thing you want to do is decide if you want something cheap or something that may cost a little more but will pay off in the long run.
Patio Cover: The patio cover you choose should match your home flawlessly. If it looks like an add-on, you have added shade but little to no value to your home.
Siding: Why not pay a little more for Hardie siding that looks better and last longer than plain vinyl that looks like plastic and doesn't add value to your home. Ultimately, its your choice.
  2. When selecting a contractor, make sure he's from Houston and not a fly by the night company that won't guarantee his work. There are so many scammers that come through Houston during Hurricane Ike.
  3. Make sure that you get your HOA (homeowners association) approval. DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT, start the project until you have their approval in a letter in your hand.  I have seen several HOA's force homeowners to take down their patio covers and/or change the color of their siding.
